The "Vodafone Mobile Connect" speed meter is a device provided free-of-charge to users of BITĖ mobile and leased line Internet services. With the help of the meter you can determine the speed of your internet connection.
The Internet connection speed is measured and indicated in the most frequently used unit - Kbps (kilobits per second). During measurement, the maximum and average download speed is determined.
To measure the download speed, at the moment of query data are transmitted from the BITĖ server to your computer – during measurement, the time of the beginning and end of transmission and the amount of data transmitted during the measurement period are estimated.
Approximate readings displayed by the “Vodafone Mobile Connect” speed meter are reference type and won’t always correspond to the actual speed of your connection to the Internet. This is because the readings can be distorted by the load of your computer and software running in it, which at the time of measurement may be using the Internet connection.
